Bradford West thanked Emma for all her hard work and welcomed Nicola into her new role as DC.

65 volunteers and their families enjoyed a relaxed picnic and catch up at WYNCHES.

Toasting marshmallows, the water slide, axe throwing, circus skills and giant garden games kept everyone entertained.

A fabulous afternoon, enjoyed by all.

What an honour some of our members have had recently. Amy and Sue volunteered with other Girlguiding county comissioners as a steward at the first Palace Garden Party of the year.

Our DofE adviser Jess had the pleasure of accompanying two Baildon Rangers to Buckingham Palace to celebrate their Gold DofE award.
Fiddlesticks: Pioneering Weekend
April 2026

WYN adventure team hosted the
annual pioneering weekend at Wynches. Rangers , Young Leaders, Leaders and Trefoil members had a fantastic weekend of developing their pioneering skills and playing on the structures they had built.
Feburary 2026: Period Proud Peer Programme

In partnership with Plan International UK Ranger and Guide Leaders received training on supporting their young leaders and Rangers to become Period Proud Peers (PPP). The PPP aim to break the stigma around menstruation by leading activities and aid open, honest conversations, ensuring no one feels embarrassed or misses out due to their period.
International Adventures at WYN

Already this year members of WYN county have enjoyed trips to Paris (March 2026) and Brussels (February 2026). What wonderful internationals adventures these leaders and young members have had.
