The four sections of Girlguiding for our young members are Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.

Rainbows are the youngest section for girls aged between 4 and 7, followed by Brownies for 7 to 10 year olds. After their 10th birthday girls can join Guides, then move up to Rangers once they are 14 years old. There are alternative and additional options to Rangers for the over 14's, including our Young Leader Development Programme. You can find out more about each of these sections by clicking on the images below.

Unit leaders will keep a record of girls badge work and will award badges
when completed.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards

Girls that earn two theme awards will get a section Bronze award. Earning four theme awards will get girls a section Silver award. To earn their section Gold award, girls need to collect all six theme awards and complete the Gold award challenge.
