Expressions of Interest for Inclusivity Training

First Response

Everyone in a Girlguiding volunteer role is encouraged to complete 1st response training. Rangers can also do the course as part of their personal development. The course teaches lifesaving first aid skills that are relevant to your role and the confidence to cope with emergency situations.

This training is now fully booked. If you need to complete this trainng please contact the county office for advice on other first response trainings in the region.

Safer Guiding

Safer Guiding is mandatory training for all members who volunteer with young members. This training is suitable for those preferring to complete the training in person.

Walking Weekend

Training options include Level 1 Walking and assessment, Level 2 training, water safety training or level 2 assessment.
 
This training is provided free to WYN members with the expectation that applicants join the county archery team to deliver archery sessions for units. Fees for out of county applicants are £190. This includes the archery training, accomodation and meals. Please apply before mid september.
